Telemarketing Executive

Location: Nottingham

Hours: Full Time/Flexible Working Hours, Monday – Friday

Salary: Dependent on Experience

The Role:

· Lead generation for our field sales team by cold calling and prospecting for new customers, utilising and helping to update pipeline information via company CRM.

· Account management of a ledger and pricing of pre-existing foodservice accounts, maintaining existing customer relationships, including answering questions or enquiries from customers and managing their requirements.

· Maximising the sales opportunities from customers by analysing their purchases, identifying missing lines out of key customer-specific product categories and recommending and upselling additional lines.

· Advising customers on forthcoming promotions, products and service developments specific to the customer type.

· Liaising with a sales manager to provide feedback on issues and developments.

· Providing administrative support as required.

· Fulfilling occasional tasks from the office at the discretion of the management and any additional ad-hoc duties as required.

· Holiday cover for the Telesales when required.

The Candidate:

You will be highly organised and proactive with a self-motivated approach. You will be a team player and must have excellent communication skills. In addition, you will have:

· Previous experience of telemarketing or telesales, preferably in a food environment

· Experience of using all Microsoft packages proficiently

· The ability to manage your own workload and multitask effectively

· An excellent telephone manner

· The ability to communicate with a diverse range of customers and internal staff.

· A bubbly and outgoing personality
